ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography is a record of the moment, but it has the power to transcend memories, places, and time. I am drawn to collecting personal histories as well as other memories of common events through photography. A person’s history carries the power to sustain life, and you can find it in a single photograph. Listening to the world’s stories is ultimately about discovering yourself, and it’s a journey to continue a humble daily life. I want my sensory experience to be conveyed to those who view my photos. I hope that you look at the picture slowly as if you were reading a poem.
